Factory farms also use up to 75% of the world’s antibiotics. This unchecked overuse of drugs across the whole industrial farming system makes antibiotics less effective in treating medical conditions.

Global meat production is five times higher today than it was 50 years ago. Demand for cheap meat is fuelling the fire, causing intense suffering for animals, impacting the environment, and endangering human health.
