Tens of thousands of pangolins are cruelly slaughtered every year and sold to feed the demand for their meat and scales for traditional medicine. Their populations are under serious threat despite being protected under national and international law.  

These shy, sensitive little mammals help keep our planet healthy. As natural pest controllers, their diet of insects and termites protects food supplies for whole eco-systems, and save forests from destruction, allowing other animals (and people) to thrive. 

The wildlife trade is a billion-pound industry built on the exploitation of wild animals that is driving pangolins and many other of our beautiful animals to the brink of extinction. Just to make money.
