18. I can’t afford to donate the minimum, what can I do?
We apologise for any inconvenience, however, the minimum adoption amount is £4 per month. This minimum amount ensures that enough vital funds are being raised to help care and protect animals in desperate need all around the world.
World Animal Protection is always extremely grateful for a gift of any size.
19. I can only afford the minimum of £4 a month, is it worth it?
Yes. We assure you that animal adoption is an extremely costs effective way to raise vital funds to help care and protect animals in desperate need all around the world.
For example, if you choose to adopt Pooh at £4 a month, this adds up to £48 a year.
The cost of the adoption welcome pack (including the photos and fridge magnet) is approximately £2, and the costs of sending other updates throughout the year will amount to just a few more pounds (less if we are able to email you instead of posting updates).
So, the amount we raise from your adoption really does far outweigh the costs of the materials.
