Victoria thinks more focus and money should be put into animal causes
Blog
Victoria has always been driven by a deep passion for animals — a passion that has shaped her life and will continue to shape the future.
“I have pledged a gift in my Will to World Animal Protection because I trust them to use the funds to help animals. Too little is done for animals by governments, but they have always been my number one passion and priority,” Victoria says.
Her commitment to animals began in childhood, growing up with a beloved family dog. That love only grew stronger when she left home and adopted her own pets.
One of her most cherished companions was Dorrie, a rescue cat who stole her heart from the very first meeting. “Dorrie was in a rehoming centre and when I went into her pen she rolled over on to her back for me to stroke her. She didn’t like anyone else! I called her my little carer — she was always with me.”
Victoria’s passion extends beyond the animals she’s cared for directly. It’s about standing up for those who suffer cruelty and neglect.
Farm animals should not be kept in cages — they are not being given the freedom to roam and be like they would in the wild. I want to change that.
That’s why she’s chosen to leave a gift in her Will to World Animal Protection, a powerful commitment to a kinder future for animals.
“I am very passionate about rescuing animals from cruelty, that’s why I have left World Animal Protection a gift in my Will.”
Through her legacy, Victoria will continue to protect animals long into the future ensuring that her love and compassion live on.
